Nathan C Bailey was born in Des Moines, Iowa on July 11, 1971.
Even before attending college Nathan won numerous awards and recognition for his Art.
He was accepted into Ringling School of Art and Design with scholarship awards. While in school he majored in Illustration, and minored in Photography while taking sculpture classes on the side. Known to the faculty , he was want times allowed to come up with his own course direction with his intent. During this time he supported himself with portraiture sales of his fine art. He was Awarded Best of Ringling in 1997 and 1998. While in school he had exhibits at State Street Gallery, The Ringling Museum, and placed artwork in the permanent collection of the USF Medical Library. Nathan graduated with Honors and made presidents list his senior year…
After graduating Nathan found himself in Savannah, GA. teaching figure painting classes in the downtown River Street Art District. He was tied to the Landings Art Association, Savannah Art Association, and many local downtown galleries. He also curated many local downtown local high end restaurants. His work here lead him to Atlanta, GA…
He worked at Deljou Art Group as a lead artist the next seven years. He created a multitude of work that was introduced though High Point, New York Art Expo and Interior Design teams.
His work has been seen in numerous famous movies and popular series. Fast Five, 24 Hours, and the Surrogate to name a few…His work has been collected by pro athletes, famous artists, and celebrities through the years.
In 2007 he created his own company called SEVENART. He has continued to grow in the art world creating art for the Hyatt Regency, Mariott, Terminus, and many other venues. Having participated in Juried art shows has won numerous awards through his work…
Today after being in Atlanta since 1999 Nathan’s work is found worldwide in galleries and private collections. His main focus is Photography and Painting oftentimes combining the two creating a Post Modern Fusion movement …
